I’m Bob Schneider, the Owner of CertaPro Painters® of Boulder and Longmont. I was born in Houston, raised outside of Philadelphia, and have spent most of my adult life in Colorado. I graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and played on the varsity lacrosse team.
Upon graduating, I worked in finance including several years at a private equity firm in Colorado. There, we would acquire businesses and then support and advise them to grow and improve quality, efficiency and customer service. Over time, I developed a growing desire to apply this improvement and growth philosophy within a small business, locally, and with a more hands-on approach. I view painting as the perfect industry because there has historically been plenty of room for improvement with a large void for consistency in providing high quality, great service and good value.
I chose CertaPro for two primary reasons. First, CertaPro’s values align with my personal beliefs: deliver on promises, take pride in your work, live by the Golden rule, and practice humility by always seeking improvement opportunities. Second, CertaPro has refined the systems, tools and processes utilized to execute smooth and seamless projects from start to finish. This allow us locally to focus on people – taking great care of every client, and taking great care of our team. This aspect of serving and delivering for other people has proven to be the most fulfilling and rewarding part of owning my CertaPro business.
Outside of CertaPro, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three sons, as well as hiking, skiing, fishing and doing anything outdoors.
My focus every day is on delivering extraordinary experiences to customers and providing great life opportunities for my team. By doing this, my goal is to consistently create Customers for Life.
